HALCYON LOGISTICS · LEGAL

Terms and conditions.

LAST UPDATED 16 OCTOBER 2026

Please read these terms carefully before using our website or client portal.

1About these terms

These terms govern your use of halcyonlogistic.com (the “website”) and the Halcyon client portal (the “portal”), which are operated by Halcyon Logistics Ltd (“Halcyon”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Mauritius (BRN C26235790) with its registered office at 2A Falcon Street, 10th Floor, The Peninsula, Caudan, Port Louis 11326, Mauritius.

By using the website or the portal, you accept these terms. If you use them on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the portal.

2Freight services are governed separately

These terms cover the website and the portal only. Freight forwarding, transport, customs and related services we provide are governed by the quotation and booking confirmation issued for each shipment and by our standard trading conditions referred to in them, together with any carrier terms (such as bill of lading or air waybill conditions) and international conventions that apply by law.

If anything on the website or in the portal conflicts with a quotation, booking confirmation or our trading conditions, those documents take precedence.

3Using the website

You may use the website and its content for your own business purposes, such as learning about our services, requesting a quote or tracking a shipment. You must not:

4Quote requests

A quote request submitted through the website is an enquiry, not a booking, and does not create a contract. A shipment is accepted only once we issue a written quotation and you confirm the booking.

Unless a quotation states otherwise, rates are subject to space and equipment availability, carrier surcharges, currency movements and the accuracy of the cargo details you provide (including weight, dimensions, commodity and any dangerous-goods classification). Quotations are valid for the period stated on them.

5Tracking and shipment information

Tracking information, schedules, vessel positions and estimated times of departure and arrival are provided for guidance only. They are based on data from carriers, ports, terminals and other third parties that we do not control, and may change without notice.

Please do not rely on website or portal information alone for time-critical decisions. For urgent shipments, contact our operations desk on +230 5750 5998.

6Client portal accounts

Portal accounts are issued by Halcyon to named individuals at our clients, for use on that client’s business only. You must:

Your company is responsible for activity carried out under accounts issued to its staff. We may suspend or close an account at any time if we reasonably suspect misuse, a security risk or a breach of these terms, or when the client relationship ends. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

7Availability

We aim to keep the website and portal available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend them for maintenance, upgrades or reasons outside our control. Our sales and operations desks remain available by phone and email during office hours.

8Intellectual property

The website, the portal and their content, including text, graphics, the Halcyon name and logo, page design and software, are owned by or licensed to Halcyon and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own business use. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce, modify or republish any content, or use our name or logo, without our prior written permission.

Documents and information you upload to the portal remain yours. You give us permission to use them to provide our services to you and to meet our legal obligations.

9Our liability

The general content of the website is provided for information only and does not constitute professional, legal or customs advice. While we take care to keep it accurate and up to date, we do not give any warranty that it is complete, accurate or current.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Halcyon is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or the portal, or from reliance on general website content, tracking displays or indicative transit times. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, revenue or goodwill.

Our liability for loss of, damage to or delay of goods is governed solely by the quotation, booking confirmation and trading conditions for the shipment concerned, and is not extended by these terms. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of Mauritius, including liability for fraud.

10Links to other websites

The website may contain links to carrier, port or other third-party websites for your convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

11Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you use the website and the portal. It forms part of these terms.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated. Your continued use of the website or the portal after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

13General

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. If we do not enforce any of these terms straight away, we can still enforce them later. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the website and the portal.

14Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the website or the portal are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. The courts of Mauritius have exclusive jurisdiction.
